Half time during a not so impressive Wales performance against Italy I decided the best thing to do was to get in the car and head to the coast. I'd been planning to get down here for ages to take some images of Maen Dyaln (Dylan's Stone) at Aberdesach for a friend of mine, called, you guessed it, Dylan.
I took the lazy route and parked by the beach at Pontllyfni instead of walking all the way along the beach at Aberdesach, also avoiding any half-term visitors. Mid-match and I had the beach to myself which was handy as I'm sure I would have received looks of incredulity as I knelt down in the water to take some low angle shots - roll on summer, the water is still incredibly cold!
